David's Background
I worked as Senator Obama's personal assistant and photographer both
during his campaign for U.S. Senate and during the beginning of his
time in office in Washington, DC. During this period, I took over
30,000 pictures of the Senator. Many of these photographs are typical
of campaigns—shaking hands with voters, speaking to large crowds,
meeting with supporters—but others that are part of my special
collection show a more personal and intimate side of life on the
campaign trail. With the help of a few talented graphic designer
friends, I have decided to release a few of these images and want to
share them with you. I hope you enjoy my website and please feel free
to share it with your friends!
